Educating individuals who can identify and solve issues on a global scale
Kobe University aims at training ‘global persons who can discover global issues by themselves and display their leadership to solve the issues’ in the bachelor program, and provides an academic environment where students aim at achieving “Kobe Standard” in four years as the goal of a liberal arts education.
Based on “Kobe Standard”, Kobe University is engaged in multiple initiatives to produce globally-focused individuals. These lead International Five-year Economics Education at Kobe (IFEEK) which enables students to graduate with a master’s degree in five years; the Kobe International Business and Research Program (KIBER), a 4-year undergraduate degree in Business Administration which includes one year of study abroad; and the Kobe University Program for European Studies (KUPES), a double degree program which trains experts in the European Union.
