On October 3, Yuli Setyo INDARTONO, the director of Research and Community Services at Bandung Institute of Technology called on Executive Vice President TAMAKI Hisashi, the director of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships at Kobe University.
Tamaki warmly welcomed the visitor, an alumnus of our university. Indartono introduced the strengths of the research fields Bandung Institute of Technology is involved in and mentioned that Japan is the top partner country in terms of the number of jointly conducted research projects at the institute. He expressed his desire to develop further joint research projects and student exchange programs in fields such as engineering and others with Kobe University.
Tamaki expressed his desire to actively participate in creating an international educational environment for students and stated his intention to consider future collaborations.
It is hoped that this visit will further deepen exchanges between the two universities in the future.
